Visiting the Children's Home
February 2007

Back in February 2007 I went to visit the Children's home in Freetown. In the process of moving to a new house I spent most of my time getting it organized and equipped. Nicely located in a hillside near Grafton it is a nice building that is very suitable for our purpose. We also arranged a beach day for all the kids. They had a lot of fun. Most had never been to any of the beautiful beaches in Sierra Leone. I also made a trip to the school to meet the teachers and see how the children were doing. The school is primitive yet the educational level is surprisingly high. It was a great visit although a week was too short. I hope you enjoy!
